Academic Year 2026–2027

1. Mission Statement:

Ascend Academy Online High School exists to provide a Faith-centered, academically rigorous online secondary education that equips students in grades 9–12 for college, career, leadership, and lifelong purpose. We believe adults deserve a second chance to finish what they have started.

2. Vision Statement:

To develop globally prepared, morally grounded, and academically confident graduates who ascend in character, competence, and their calling.

3. Statement of Faith:

Ascend Academy operates as a private faith-based institution committed to Biblical principles, integrity, and servant leadership.

4. Admissions Policy:

Students must: Submit completed enrollment application provide prior transcripts (if applicable) Agree to the Code of Conduct. Submit parent/guardian consent Admission is open without discrimination consistent with private religious school standards.

5. Attendance Policy (Online Definition):

Attendance is defined as: Logging into the learning platform, completing assignments. Participating in required coursework. Engaging in academic communication​. Failure to participate for 10 consecutive school days may result in withdrawal review.

6. Grading Scale:

  A 90–100  4.0 

 B  80–89              3.0C            70–79              2.0D           60–69               1.0F            Below 60          0

7. Academic Integrity:

Students are expected to submit original work. Plagiarism, cheating, or AI misuse may result in: Assignment failure Course failure Disciplinary review

8. Code of Conduct:

Students must: Show respect in communication Maintain academic honesty Use technology responsibly Represent the school appropriately online

9. Graduation Requirements:

Minimum 24 credits required. Students must: Complete required coursework Maintain minimum GPA of 2.0 Satisfy attendance requirements

10. Complaint & Grievance Procedure:

Concerns must be submitted in writing to the administration. The Board will review unresolved disputes.
